Blog one

WOW! The first blog of the rest of my life!!!

Today was an okay day. Work picked up—in a major way! It's like everyone holds the projects and then decides today is the day to release them ALL to us!! Sigh.

Went fishing at my Dad's yesterday. On the way home, some guy mooned us. I live in a small town so this was beyond the norm. Some guy was just waiting for one of the three vehicles that would travel down that road after dark so he could moon them. What a dork! Or should that be dorkfish? Thank you Mr. Engvall for that random thought! Pam always says the weird ones are attracted to me and this is proof positive!

Tomorrow is thankfully Friday and the new season of Burn Notice starts tonight!! Woo Hoo! Saving Grace and The Closer start new seasons Monday! Will have to choose between watching The Closer and Nashville Star because, amazingly enough, the person I want to win Nashville Star has not been voted off this season. Go Melissa!!

Today's Bible reading is going to be in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I am researching the 4 places in the Bible where a woman anointed Jesus' feet with expensive ointment and dried them with her hair. I can't figure out if there were 3 different incidents or just 2. I have come to the conclusion that there were at least 2 because one takes place in Capernium and the other 3 say they are in Bethany. All of them have a Simon—Simon the Leper, Simon the Pahrisee, and Simon the father of Judas. I am looking to see if Simon the Leper and Simon the father of Judas are one and the same. What Mary in John is it? Is Mary of Bethany the sister of Martha or Mary Magdalene or a different Mary altogether? I am in pursuit of an answer and if I can't find it on my own I will be keeping the preacher late this Sunday!!
