I ran into my cousin at (where else?) Wal-Mart today at lunch (yes I grocery shop on my lunch hour, doesn't everyone?). She was telling me that her husband was diagnosed with large and small cell lung cancer about 6 months ago and they gave him about 6 months without treatment. He choose to have quality of life over quantity b/c, even with the radical treatment, they gave him about a 1% chance. So they are planning his funeral and taking care of end of life decisions. It is sad. I know he is older and has had a great life but he is one of the good ones and I hate to see him go. For those of you who know my family, you know I don't have much to do with most of them (I have a low hypocrite/bullsh*t tolerance level in my old age) but I like Annie. She has the same low tolerant level as me . . . she might be a little more outspoken about it than I am though (I know, I know, y'all did not think that was possible!!).
This weekend is the trade days in Lufkin on hwy 69. Will is working on Saturday so I will have it by myself that day. One less weekend to hunt. Sigh. Can you say not happy?
Jess had her last high school volleyball game Tuesday. They played Normagee and got their butts handed to them b/c they were making stupid mistakes and laughing when they made them.
