Pepper Sauce
Peppers to suite your taste
(I use hot peppers but you can use banana peppers)
Cider Vinegar to fill container
1. Put the peppers into a jar—I use a quart jar but a friend of ours used whiskey bottles—until full.
2. Bring the vinegar to a boil, and pour over the peppers. (Careful, boiling vinegar is pungent stuff.)
3. Let it sit a few days to absorb the flavors. The longer it sits the better.
4. Drizzle over peas, greens, or pork roast.
Some people say you can add more boiling vinegar to the peppers after you have eaten all of the vinegar. I don’t do this because I don’t think the flavor is the same and I always have too many peppers to even think about reusing some!!!
